Ishita Banerjee is a dedicated Career Counselor and Coach with over seven years of professional experience in shaping meaningful and future-ready careers. Throughout her counselling career she has successfully guided hundreds of students and professionals toward discovering their purpose, identifying their ideal career paths, and gaining admission to some of the world’s leading universities.
Her expertise spans U.S. college admissions, global education opportunities, and strategic career planning, developed through years of experience at leading study abroad organizations. Having worked with leading Study Abroad firms she brings a unique blend of analytical insight, personalized mentorship, and a deep understanding of evolving global college admissions and career landscapes.
In 2020, she founded Careerforte with the vision of moving individuals beyond conventional job searches to embrace strategic career design. The platform embodies her belief that career success stems from clarity of purpose, authenticity, and strategic foresight.
Drawing on global exposure due to her two decades of working with leading global publications, she posesses extensive industry insight, and specializes in helping clients articulate their stories with authenticity and distinction—crafting profiles that resonate with top universities and employers alike. Her work is grounded in a singular commitment: to empower individuals to design careers that are not only successful but deeply fulfilling.
She is an alumna of Lady Shri Ram College and holds a Masters Degree in History from Delhi University. She completed her Career Counseling training from University of California L.A among other certifications in counseling.

Himani Sood hold a degree in B.A. in Development Studies from Brown University and a PGCE in Secondary Education from the University of Sunderland a graduate is a Guidance Counselor and Humanities educator. She has nearly a decade of experience teaching across multiple curricula, including the IB, IGCSE, and CBSE. She has worked in schools in India and Europe, enabling her to adapt teaching and learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of her students.
Her international exposure—both as a student and as a teacher—has given her a broad understanding of varied educational systems, learning approaches, and the unique challenges of cross-cultural classrooms.
Himani has also provided private college counselling, guiding students through the essay-writing process and helping them articulate their authentic voices. She believes that narrative-style application essays allow students to tap into their potential and express their whole selves. In addition, she has supported students from challenging backgrounds in identifying opportunities beyond traditional college pathways.
